Description: White Top x Gulf Sweet pitcher plant is the hybrid of Sarracenia leucophylla and S. rubra ssp. gulfensis. In the spring it produces small, elegant green and red flowers and few leaves. In late summer it is noted for its tremendous crop of mottled pink, slender leaves. Other notable traits include its ability to make multiple flowers on each growth point, and its dense clumping habit. Mature height is approximately 18 inches.
Pitcher Plant Care: Plant in full sun to part shade outdoors. Use peat moss and pertlite in a very large planter and keep it wet. It loses its leaves in the winter. Cold hardy to 20F in a pot and 0F in the ground.
All plants will ship bare root, without pots and soil.
