Description: This beautifully-colored plant has rich coloration, and even richer lore surrounding it. In the spring, it grows a few leaves up to 28-30 inches tall. In the fall it grows equally tall leaves that are skinnier.
This plant is not in our display garden. If you're looking for a large-growing, colorful, sturdy or prolific pitcher plant get S. 'Dragon Queen', 'Leah Wilkerson', "Elvis Wilkerson", flava var rubricorpora, 'Waccamaw', "Megalodon", 'Lunchbox'... the list goes on.
We have this plant to make seeds with, and occasionally share a division of it.
Pitcher Plant Care: Plant in full sun to part shade outdoors. Use peat moss and perlite in a very large planter and keep it wet. It loses its leaves in the winter. Cold hardy to 20F in a pot and 0F in the ground.
All plants will ship bare root, without pots and soil.
