Description: Variety alba is a designation reserved for plants that have a little more white in the top than most other S. leucophylla. This clone has a pleasing shape, lots of white in the fall (pictured), a delicate yellow flower and grows to about 28 inches tall.
We don't know the history of this plant, but hopefully it wasn't dug from the wild because that would be super lame. We acquired it from a hobbyist who also didn't know its origins.
Pitcher Plant Care: Plant in full sun to part shade outdoors. Use peat moss and perlite in a very large planter and keep it wet. It loses its leaves in the winter. Cold hardy to 20F in a pot and 0F in the ground.
All plants will ship bare root, without pots and soil.
