S. 'The Kraken' is a hybrid of S. readii and S. 'Royal Ruby'. It makes sparse leaves in the fall that are relatively sturdy and richly colored. S. "Megalondon" makes leaves almost exclusively in the spring and has monster proportions!
The best seedlings from these two parents will make a nice set of leaves in both the spring and fall, and make giant leaves.
