Description:  The "southern threadleaf sundew" or Drosers filiformis var. tracyii, is a sticky, trappy addition to your bug-eating garden. Growing over 1ft tall, it is one of the largest sundews in the world. It is a south-east United States native.  Plant it with your venus flytraps and pitcher plants and watch it catch loads of gnats.

How to grow sundews:   Plant in full sun to part shade outdoors. Use peat moss and perlite in a very large planter and keep it wet. It loses its leaves in the winter. Cold hardy to 20F in a pot and 0F in the ground.
