Description: Sarracenia "Johnny Wilkerson" is a wild-collected pitcher plant from the Wilkerson’s property in North Florida, introduced into cultivation by Brooks Garcia. It is possible that it is an introgressed hybrid of Sarracenia flava and Sarracenia leucophylla. Sarracenia "Johnny Wilkerson" is notable for its outstanding color and proportions.

Slim 20 inch tall red tubes with clean white areoles emerge in spring, followed by Summer phyllodia. Fall is when this plant produces its largest and most colorful pitchers, measuring 24 inches tall with 2 inch mouths.

Pitcher Plant Care: Plant "Johnny Wilkerson" in full sun to part shade outdoors. Use peat moss in a very large planter and keep it wet. It loses its leaves in the winter. Cold hardy to 20F in a pot and 0F in the ground.

All plants will ship bare root, without pots and soil.
